The Grand Line discussed the Petition being on the Website and we decided we do not want it there.  Inquiries can be referred to the Grand Chapter Office, who will then direct them to a specific Chapter.

Other Forms

The Grand Chapter Office is now offering many of their forms is three flavors (*.PDF, *.VDT, *.EXE). They will continue to offer the "PDF" forms you have been able to download and open using Adobe Reader. In addition to that, a new format is being offered (in two varieties) to allow those members (and secretaries) who are using PC's to do their work, to down load the form and complete it on the computer. In this form, you will be able to save the completed form, print it and/or email it when appropriate.

In addition to this, for the expert secretary that just wants to download one file and get all of the current offerings from the Grand Chapter Office, click here and down load a ZIPed file that contains all of the forms at once. See the information below, if you need help with zipped files.

The Word forms "*.doc" are no longer being supported by the Grand Chapter office. Instead Secretaries should use the "*.vft" forms, or the self-viewing "*.exe" forms.

*.PDF

To view, print, or download forms or application in this format you must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 6.0 or better installed on your computer. Most newer internet browsers already have this facility built-in. If you do not, however, you can download Version 6.0 of the reader for free. Click on the link above. Scroll to the bottom of the resulting page under "Get the Free Acrobat Reader" and follow the instructions. After you have downloaded and installed the reader return to this page to view, print or download the items you desire. If you have previously downloaded Version 4, you will need to upgrade to Version 6 to uses these forms.

If you need to save and email this version of the form, you must own a full (paid) version of Adobe Acrobat. You cannot use Adobe Reader to email these forms.

*.VFT

To view, print, or download forms and applications in this format you must have VisiForm Filler Lite installed on your computer. This new format is being offered as the result of recreating our forms using the VisiForm Software developed by Primary Software. To use this version of the form (i.e. the "*.vft" forms), you need to download the VisiForm Filler Lite program from Primary Software.  It is a free download and may be necessary if you have any trouble downloading executable files offered in the next section (as are prevented by many firewalls and security systems.) To get this program, go to the link above and click on the button "Get VisiForm Filler Lite"

This version (as well as the EXE version below) will allow you to  save, reopen, print and email your completed form.

*.EXE

While no additional tools should be expected in this format, in order to bypass many Anti-Virus systems, these are actually delivered in a ZIPed format. Newer (XP) operating systems include tools to open and extract ZIPed files. If you do not have these tools already on your system, then they are available from WinZIP. You may download an evaluation copy for free. This will allow you to extract ZIP files. Once you have extracted the files, no additional tools are required to open, complete, save, print or email the forms in this format, however some may have difficulties trying to email this version of the form due to constraints of many e-mail (and anti-virus) systems (AOL and Norton Anti-Virus for two examples) and their prohibitions against the emailing of executable files. The "*.exe" forms are self-viewing, they do not require an additional program. However, they do not work well with AOL or other "on-line" email programs.
