COLLETTE SERIO GOLE
2008

Emblem
Stars Intertwined with a Touch of Hollywood

The stars represent my membership in Hollywood Chapter, my roots in the Hollywood community, and my belief that every person has the ability to be a “Shining Star.”
The filmstrip is symbolic of my many connections to Hollywood – my birthplace, where I attended school, my Rainbow Assembly, and my Eastern Star Chapter. It also represents memories of my service to our Order in 1984, 1997, and 2004, and sixteen years of service to the Jurisprudence Committee. These “classic” years will guide me in the future.

Colors
Navy Blue, Light Blue, Silver, and a Touch of Periwinkle

Blue has always been my favorite color. Navy blue represents patriotism to our country. Light blue depicts loyalty and fidelity to our Sisters and Brothers. Silver, being a precious metal, denotes the importance of each member of our Masonic family. A touch of Periwinkle represents a color that brings together all other colors in harmony and friendship.

Flower
Red and White Carnations

Watchwords
Honesty – Fairness – Justice

Be Honest … with yourself and others.
Be Fair … in your treatment of others.
Be Just … in your actions.

Motto
“Set positive goals and reasonable expectations”

Fun Emblem
“Liberty”

A cute and adorable puppy that is symbolic of spirit, energy, playfulness, inquisitiveness, and much, much more. I hope Liberty will bring a smile to your face. The red, white, and blue scarf represents loyalty, justice, and pride in our country. The baseball reminds us of how relaxing an afternoon at the ballpark can be, and how each of us must take a moment to enjoy life.

JIM WHITELEY
2008

Our emblem is a Lighthouse and an Eagle encircled by red, white, blue, and gold.

The eagle is known for its strength. It represents power, honor, and wisdom and in our nation, it represents freedom and bravery. Keen vision allows the eagle to see far-off challenges so that it may soar through each pursuit with success.

The lighthouse symbolizes guidance and direction. These impressive towers light the way to provide assistance from one adventure to the next, and serve to direct us away from danger. Light is one of the fundamental principles of our Masonic teachings that encourage us to follow the lighted path to achievement and success. Each of the three rays represents one of our watchwords.

The emblem is topped with a bow of red, white, and blue representing our nation’s patriotic colors and the many members of our military services that are serving to protect our freedom. It also represents my tie to the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.

The base is gold and represents the high standard of conduct for us as Masons and is emblematic of the excellence and wisdom of the beautiful lessons taught in our Order. It also represents our Golden State.

Colors
Red, White, Blue, and Gold

Our Watchwords
Honesty – Fairness – Justice

Light – represents knowledge, truth, and wisdom and is an essential element for our success.
Harmony – is accomplished by putting our Masonic and Eastern Star teachings into practice. Our welfare and prosperity depend upon this.
Kindness – every act of kindness done enriches the life of both the recipient and the giver.

Scripture

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven. Matthew 5:16

Our Fun Emblem
Our fun emblem, “Champ”, is an “All Star” and has played the game well and will always give his best effort to enjoy the game and be a successful part of the team. Traveling with “Liberty” will be one of his favorite pastimes.
