I started my working career in a small office as a Note Department Clerk for an independent bank in the Los Angeles area. I had little to no experience in the workplace. My supervisor at the time knew how inexperienced I was but decided to simply give me a chance to show her what an assets I would someday be to her. She took me under her wing and taught me so many valuable lessons in the workplace that I carry to this very day. She taught me always to follow-up, follow-through, and to document everything. Never look at any situation as a challenge but more so as an opportunity and never NEVER take anything personal. Little did I know how valuable these stepping stones would be to me as I moved to other positions throughout my working career? After leaving my little note department job I moved on to several other administrative positions and landed a job at the Gallo Wine Company in 1998. My position there was as Executive Assistant to four of the top Executives of the company in the Southern California area. Gallo was truly where I polished my skills and grew up personally as well as professionally. I was dedicated to my position there and never dreamed in a million years of leaving the company. But as we all know we are not always in charge of our destiny. Eventually I landed my position here at the Senior Living Community as the Outreach Assistant. I began my employment at the Senior Living Community in March of 2005. From the first day I started my employment here at the community I new this was for me. Everyday is different from the next and I am having a great time doing what I get to do for a living. I have been with the home going on three years and look forward to many years to come.
